Sole F80

Excellent... even though it took awhile
"I recently purchased the new 2011 Sole F80. I had the treadmill delivered to my room of choice (highly recommend paying the extra $100 for this). The assembly was easy. However, one of the console bolts was improperly welded making completion of assembly impossible for my unit. I contacted the Sole Customer Service and they promptly sent me a new console (within a few days).
The remainder of the assembly was easy and I immediately used the unit to run 3 miles at a setting of up to 7mph and incline of up to 4 -- no skipping, smooth transitions, etc. The motor was quiet enough so that I could hear a radio (didn't feel like using my headphones at the moment). The new model has a longer running deck so this affordable option will still be good for my tall husband -- a definite plus so he can stay pretty ;-)"

Fantascit Machine!!!
"I bought the F80 about two weeks ago and I love it!! It has all of the features I want, fan, speakers and ipod connection, as well as all of the standards (pluse, incline, distance and calorie measures). Works great and I am running even though it is well below freezing outside. I recommend this machine to anyone who is looking for a good treadmill, well worth the investment."

Sole F80
"Spent weeks researching treadmills and read the reviews and finally decided on the Sole F80. I purchased it at Sears for $1499.00 and they offered free delivery and set-up! They even disassembled my ten year old treadmill and took it away. The Sole F80 weighs about three hundred pounds (shipping wgt)and I was glad that Sears took care of everything. They contract out for delivery/set-up and we were very pleased with the professional and timely manner of the delivery process. Less than a week after purchase! Fans work great; speakers are wonderful; heart-rate control programs also impress. So far, so good. There was a thumping noise at first but Sole says it will go away after the belt is broken in. They say that's normal. Will write back later if there is a problem. Just got it today and burned 500 calories. Very pleased!
I feel so good after the treadmill workout. Finally reached a goal of running a complete mile and walking the other two at a good clip uphill. Burning 500 calories a day and very pleased with the Sole F80! The thumping noise I heard at first went away almost immediately just like the customer support at Sole said it would."

Excellent Treadmill
"I did a weeks worth of research and came to the conclusion that Sole was definitely the way to go. The F63 model is praised as a Best Buy by everyone, including Consumer Reports as an overall best product for 2011. But the F80 is also a Best Buy in it's price category and suited our needs better. The F80 warranty alone is worth the extra money. You will love the F80 or any of the Sole models, they make the best home fitness products."

Sole F80 (2011 Model)
"My wife and I researched the treadmill landscape for about a year before pulling the trigger on the SOLE F80. Good timing! This is the newest iteration of the already highly praised Sole F80 (2010 version with 87 AMAZON reviews averaging 4.5 stars). The new model for 2011 has a longer running deck (60") and an enhanced display among some other smaller improvements.
At $1499.99 (shipping included), this appeared to be the best buy for the money and we are impressed after having it in the house for a month. I would recommend visiting a local sporting goods store or perhaps your local Sears location in order to try it out prior to purchasing. Take note of the solid feel....if you hop on some other units from various manufacturers around the same price point, you'll typically notice that the entire assembly shifts around a bit under heavy load (average weight person running). The construction of the Sole is solid and makes for a very rigid feel even during jogging."
